Breathing red,
breathing pain
breathe in now
once again.
The river's red
swells 'cross the sky
the questioning
I wonder why?
All alone
everyday
colours change
but alone I stay
while the west
the summer sets
in my heart
I can't forget.
I'm breathing red
while fading black
eyes growing dim
you call me back
back to my bed
all alone
in the hospital
all alone.
